Update:

It has been a big week for Manchester United both on and off the field. United beat cross-city rivals Manchester City 2-1 in the Premier League on Saturday thanks to goals from Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford.

There has also been talk of a possible takeover at Old Trafford, with United fan and billionaire Jim Ratcliffe being linked with replacing the current owners, the Glazer family, in a multi-billion dollar deal.

Manchester United vs Crystal Palace

United take on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Wednesday ahead of their mouthwatering clash with league leaders Arsenal on Sunday.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka could be set for a start at right-back due to Diogo Dalot’s absence through injury.

England international Luka Shaw may be moved from centre-back to left-back to make space for World Cup winner Lisandro Martínez at the heart of Erik ten Hag’s back four alongside the experienced Raphael Varane.

Midfield options

Casemiro could be left out because of his number of bookings this season, which would give Scott McTominay some game time in midfield alongside Christian Eriksen.

Casemiro is only one yellow card away from being suspended for the Premier League clash with Arsenal on Sunday.

The three ahead of McTominay and Eriksen could be Antony on the right, with Bruno playing centrally and the in-form Rashford on the left.

It’s also possible that exciting talent Alejandro Garnacho gets a run on the left to give Rashford a rest ahead of the Arsenal match in London.

Weghorst debut

This fixture could see Wout Weghorst make his Manchester United debut after being brought in in January to replace the departed Cristiano Ronaldo in attack.
