Sadio Mané and Leroy Sané clash after Bayern Munich’s Champions League defeat to Manchester City

According to reports in Germany, there was a bust-up between Bayern Munich forwards Sadio Mané and Leroy Sané after the club’s 3-0 Champions League defeat to Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday.

As per German outlet Bild, former Liverpool player Mané was reportedly upset with how his team-mate Sané spoke to him, before allegedly hitting the Germany international in the face.

Mané and Sané separated after losing to Man City

The players had to be separated, with Sky Germany explaining that Sané was left with a bloody lip after the incident between the pair.

In the 83rd minute of the first-leg loss to Pep Guardiola’s side in Manchester, Mané made a run in behind instead of coming short to receive the ball, which reportedly angered former City player Sané and caused the two players to clash.

Bayern have declined to comment on the matter.
