Marcelo Flores could make his Tigres debut against Atlas

New Tigres signing Marcelo Flores could make his debut against Atlas on Sunday.

Tigres boss Robert Dante Siboldi pointed out that the Mexican player could be called up and if he gets minutes, it would be his first game in senior football in Mexico.

“Yes, he is in the squad. He is already registered and can be called up,” the coach said at a press conference.

Córdova and Herrera on the way back

Dante Siboldi also revealed that Sebastián Córdova and Ozziel Herrera could be fit for the Clásico Regio 133 on Saturday, September 23 at the Volcán.

“Córdova will be back in as normal on Monday, and Ozziel will be back in another week. It’s difficult but we are trying. The idea is that all the injured players will be ready for the following week,” he added.

Tigres take on Atlas

The Uruguayan head coach also spoke about upcoming opponents Atlas ahead of the league clash.

“They have good players and are a big club. It won’t be easy for us... they also need points to be at the top. We’re preparing to get a good result.”
