Marcelo Flores joins Tigres from Arsenal

Marcelo Flores has officially signed for Tigres. The Mexican club have announced the deal with the 19-year-old, who arrives from Arsenal, where he did not see much game time or break into the first team under Mikel Arteta.

Something similar happened with Real Oviedo in Spain’s second tier, where he played on loan but was deemed surplus to requirements by the club’s coaching staff.

Flores completes move

The deal is reportedly for a fee of less than $1 million. He has passed his medical, as reported by AS México, but it was not until Sunday that the signing was made official. Flores has signed with Tigres until 30 June 2025.
