Matchday 5 of Liga MX Apertura kicks off on Tuesday
The Apertura 2023 action is back and after a month involved in League Cup action, Liga MX takes centre stage again.
The Liga MX Apertura 2023 is back after all eighteen sides were involved in the recent Leagues Cup. With no time to spare after matchday 4, the next round of fixtures get underway on Tuesday as Chivas welcome Xolos to Guadalajara as Mazatlán face Puebla at the same time.
Tuesday, August 22 sees matchday 5 begins with Chivas vs Xolos from the Akron stadium at 9:00 p.m (ET). At that same time, Mazatlán will be face Puebla while on the border town, FC Juárez and Pumas will close Tuesday’s activity.
On Wednesday, August 23, América will play again at the Azteca Stadium but this time face Necaxa at 9:00 p.m (ET). At the same time, Cruz Azul visits Pachuca, while Atlético San Luis will host León also at 9:00 p.m (ET).
Games involving Querétaro-Atlas and Tigres-Santos have been pushed back to Wednesday, August 30 with both games pencilled to start at 9:06 p.m. (ET). Rayados are still resting having reached the last four in the Leagues Cup hence their trip to Toluca has not yet been scheduled yet.
