Messi mania hits Monterrey as tickets for Rayados-Inter Miami sell out

The prices for the CONCACAF Champions Cup clash ranged from 1,830 pesos ($110) to 3,900 ($235) and sold out in less than half an hour.

Interest for Inter Miami’s imminent visit to Monterrey for the second leg of the 2024 CONCACAF Champions Cup has created unprecedented demand with tickets for the game at the Estadio BBVA selling out in less than 30 minutes.

Ticketmaster Mexico reported massive demand after the online sales started at 11:00 a.m. (local time) on Friday morning with all match tickets selling out within 30 minutes, with hundreds of unfortunate fans left disappointed as they were left languishing in a “virtual queue.”

Ticket prices ranged from 1,830 pesos ($110) to 3,900 ($235) with demand among the Nuevo Leon club fanbase sky-high to see the Argentine maestro at close quarters.

Monterrey supporters and subscribers of the Albiazul club were given a window of preference in the sales process with a packed house of over 53,000 fans set to pre present on Wednesday, 10 April as the current Liga MX leaders and MLS side look for a berth in the semifinals of the 2024 Champions Cup where the winners of the Tigres-Columbus Crew tie await.
