Apple TV have released a trailer of the new documentary that will be released in 2024 focusing on Messi’s time with the Argentina national side.
Since his arrival in the United States with Inter Miami, Leo Messi has become a leading sports image for Apple TV, with the tech giant current owner of global MLS broadcast rights. The California based company has confirmed the launch of a new documentary that focuses on Messi with Argentina.
Just a few weeks ago, Apple TV launched the series ‘Messi Meets America’, which tells the story of the Argentine star’s arrival at MLS club Inter Miami and how the team secured the 2023 Leagues Cup title.
The Cupertino based giant has revealed details of a new Messi related documentary ‘Messi’s World Cup: The Rise of a Legend. This four-part documentary will showcase Messi’s journey with the Argentina team to carrying the weight of a country on his shoulders through several elusive World Cup wins, leading to his early retirement in 2016 and, ultimately, the comeback to become a FIFA World Cup champion and be crowned the 2022 tournament’s best player.
When will ‘Messi’s World Cup: The Rise of a Legend’ be released?
Apple TV announced that the new four part series Tim Pastore production will see the light of day on 21 February, 2024.
