European rivals
These January matches mark Mexico’s first official games of 2026. Then, during the FIFA international window in March, Mexico will take on two European powerhouses: Portugal on March 28 at the newly renovated Estadio Banorte, and Belgium on March 31 at Chicago’s Soldier Field (8:00 PM EST). Both nations are expected to call up their biggest stars, making these fixtures a serious test for Javier Aguirre’s squad.
