Mexico striker Raúl Jiménez robbed in England

The Mexican striker and his family were at home at the time of the robbery in England.

On Friday, it was reported that Mexico striker Raúl Jiménez was robbed in his house during his time at Premier League side Wolves. The unfortunate event took place in 2022, when the player was still at the Midlands club.

The act of aggression against Jiménez was part of a series of assaults carried out by the same criminal group in the vicinity of the home of the striker. The main valuables that the criminals managed to acquire were an Audi Q8 and a Range Rover, worth approximately $164,000, according to The Sun.

The act was executed in the early hours of the morning, with Jiménez’s family at home at the time. Among some of the possessions stolen were watches and jewelry, as well as video game controllers.

Two of the alleged perpetrators were later arrested. Simon Brookes and Patrick Rafferty were sentenced to 84 and 54 months in prison, respectively.

The Fulham striker has not commented on the situation and his version of the event is unknown.
