Mexico begin life under permanent head coach Jaime Lozano with a friendly future against Australia on Saturday.

The game will be played on US soil at AT&T Stadium in Texas. Mexico are expected to field a strong team with the likes of Santiago Gimenez expected to feature from the start as El Tri look to begin their journey to the 2026 World Cup on the front foot.

After Saturday’s game Lozano’s men will then play Uzbekistan next week. They then face Ghana and Germany in October.
