MLS confirm date for 2023 season schedule
With the Qatar World Cup winding down, thoughts turn to domestic action again with the fixture list for the 2023 MLS season set to be confirmed next week.


Just over a month has passed since LAFC lifted the MLS Cup at the Banc of California Stadium after a dramatic penalty shoot-out over Philadelphia Union and thoughts now turn to the 2023 season.

The new season will feature 29 clubs with St. Louis City SC the latest expansion team to take their place in the league and the new club will play in the Western Conference, with Nashville SC moving to the Eastern Conference.

The new season gets underway on 25 February and will be the first campaign under the new Apple TV deal with all games available via the game pass or as part of a special Apple TV package.

LAFC are the current side to beat with the Union Eastern champions with the month of January set to coincide with a return to activity and pre-season games for the 29 clubs.
