Update:

This year’s MLS Cup will conclude with a new name on the Philip F. Anschutz Trophy, either Inter Miami or Vancouver Whitecaps.

The showpiece final on Saturday is one of the most hotly-anticipated in years - if not ever - and Lionel Messi is still on the hunt for a first championship in MLS. He comes up against a Vancouver side that have been pace-setters in the West for most of the season, now boasting German World Cup winner Thomas Muller in the front line.

Miami had the slightly better regular season record, meaning that they will have home advantage for MLS Cup on Saturday, December 6. The game will be played at Miami’s temporary home of Chase Stadium, with a relatively modest capacity of 21,500. The historic nature of the game, combined with the limited number of seats, look set to make this game the most expensive MLS Cup ever.

How much are tickets for MLS Cup 2025?

Throughout Messi’s time in MLS, Inter Miami have regularly had some of the most expensive ticket prices in the entire league. The lure of seeing the legendary Argentine in the final seasons of his illustrious career has pushed up prices. This weekend’s MLS Cup is no different.

As of Tuesday, December 2 the cheapest available tickets on Ticketmaster were priced at $305.80. These are listed as ‘Official IMCF Ticket’, rather than the vastly inflated resale tickets also available.

Aside from the championship on the line, Saturday’s game is also a final chance to see two of the most decorated players of the modern game. Both Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba have announced that they will retire at the end of the 2025 season, meaning that MLS Cup will be their last games. Fans forking out $300+ for tickets will get the chance to bid farewell two genuine greats.
