Monterrey hoping to land Fulham striker Carlos Vinícius
The Brazilian has a contract until the summer of 2025 with Fulham, with an option for another year.
Monterrey are looking to strengthen their squad ahead of the Liga MX campaign. Rayados want to add to their attack after last season’s failure and according to Sky Sports, they have made an initial approach to sign Brazilian striker Carlos Vinícius from Fulham, but there will be competition to secure his services.
Sky report that two other Spanish teams are also looking to sign the striker during the January transfer window, meaning Rayados will have to come up with a better offer if they want to sign the 28-year-old.
Fulham situation
The Brazilian has a contract until the summer of 2025 with Fulham, with an option for another year, however, his lack of game time and goals (2) this season could accelerate his departure to the beginning of 2024.
The striker has experience in Europe having had spells at PSV, Napoli, Benfica, Monaco and Tottenham. With Fulham, he has only managed to score a total of eight goals in 47 games.
