Napoli - Real Madrid: UCL Group C as it happened
An excellent game of Champions League football in Naples with the Serie A side tasting defeat at home in the competition for the first time in 17 games.

Georgian maestro Khvicha Kvaratskhelia finally got into the swing of the match as he created wave after wave of attack on the Madrid goal. An innocuous tangle between Nacho and Osimhen saw VAR intervene and award a debatable penalty for Napoli which Piotr Zieliński duly slotted home.
Real Madrid can never be written off and less so on the European stage as the side in black clawed their way back into the contest and following a corner, the ball fell to Fede Valverde who unleashed a ferocious strike that went in with the aid of the bar and Napoli keeper Meret.
Ancelotti's men make it six points from six and they now face a trip to northern Portugal in matchday 3 to take on Braga SC as Napoli head to face Union Berlin.
