The Mexican soccer league will be broadcast in English on CBS, one of the leading networks in sports coverage.

New broadcast deal brings Liga MX to more US fans

CBS Sports has announced that it has reached an agreement with Televisa Univision to broadcast select Liga MX matches across the next 12 months.

The games will be shown across the various platforms operated by CBS, one of the leading networks in sporting event coverage. The coverage will begin this weekend and will continue through May 2026. CBS Sports’ Liga MX games will include the current Apertura 2025 tournament, the Clausura 2026 tournament and playoff matches.

A statement from the network reads: “CBS Sports Network and CBS Sports Golazo will broadcast select matches from Liga MX, the most-watched soccer league in the United States.”

At least 40 regular season games and additional playoff games will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network or CBS Sports Golazo as part of the new deal. All matches will be broadcast entirely in English. Commentators will include Nico Cantor, Adrián García-Márquez, and Chris Wittyngham.

Highlights and summaries of the matches will be used across the platform’s various channels, as well as on social media. CBSSports.com and the CBS Sports app will provide additional editorial coverage of Liga MX.

  • Cruz Azul vs. América - October 18
  • Cruz Azul vs. Monterrey - October 25
  • Monterrey vs Tigres - November 1
  • América vs León - November 1
  • Toluca vs. América - November 8
  • Cruz Azul vs. Pumas - November 8

In addition to this new international deal for Liga MX, there is also a new coverage plan that brings Liga MX to fans in Brazil. That deal will see live broadcasts of Mexican soccer through the SportyNet network.
