Neymar could leave PSG: What are the possible destinations? Chelsea, United...

According to RMC, after the words of Al Khelaïfi, the Brazilian has agreed to leave Paris, although finding a destination for him isn’t so simple.

Update:
Neymar

The future of Neymar Jr. appears to lay more outside of Paris than inside. The Brazilian is considering quitting PSG, according to information from RMC Sport, after the club appear to have shown him the door and after its president, Nasser Al-Khelafi, acknowledged in Le Parisien that he wanted players who were fully devoted to the endeavor.

Where next for PSG’s Neymar?

The midfielder, who arrived in 2017 as a global superstar but has since fallen out of favor, has a clause in his renewal contract that allows him to stay on if the other party wants him to until 2027. This makes it much more difficult for him to leave because of the problem with the contract and the excessive salary that few clubs in Europe can pay.

Numerous teams, particularly in England, are keeping a careful eye on Neymar’s position, so say RMC Sport. One of them is Chelsea, led by Thomas Tuchel, who the former Barcelona player played for when he was at his peak in Paris. In the event that Cristiano Ronaldo leaves, Manchester United has him in mind as well, and Newcastle could afford to carry out such a move thanks to the investment from Saudi Arabia. Over in Italy, Juventus are also keeping tabs on his availability although competing financially may be a problem.

Neymar has started a time of introspection during which he questions whether to stay at PSG because he did not agree with Al-Khelafi’s recent comments. The Parisians no longer view him as the untouchable player he once was and have concentrated all of their efforts on Kylian Mbappé, making him the project’s outward leader. The coming weeks will go a long way to determining whether Ney’s potential Parisien adventure comes to an end before or after the 2022 World Cup.
