No truth in rumors of offers from Brazil for Marcel Ruiz
According to the latest update, Palmeiras have not made an official offer for the Mexican midfielder. Ruiz doesn’t see the move favorably.

Multiple reports have emerged over the last few days, suggesting that Marcel Ruiz could be on his way out of Toluca. While some of the interest appears serious - to the point where transfer fees and salaries have been mentioned, there doesn’t seem to be anything concrete and nothing from the player to suggest he is keen to move on.
In recent reports, figures ranging between $12 and $14 million for the 24-year-old have been touted, in addition to a monthly salary of $800,000. However, transfer specialist César Luis Merlo has come out to deny such information.
No interest from Marcel to leave
According to Merlo, there is no formal offer for the Mexico international - and nor is there any genuine interest from Ruíz in changing Mexico for Brazil.
The player himself has repeatedly mentioned his desire to play in Europe one day - Toluca would be looking for a fee of around 10 million dollars to make it a reality.

“I understand there’s no formal offer from Palmeiras for Marcel Ruiz despite the rumors. Furthermore, the Mexican national team player isn’t interested in moving to Brazil if an offer from that market materializes," the journalist said.
