Isco Alarcón will play the next two seasons at Sevilla. The news was officially announced by the Andalusian club on Sunday afternoon, they added that the player was already in Seville and is due to under a medical on Monday prior to signing his new contract. Isco has agreed a two-year deal as a free agent.

Lopetegui gets his man

At 30 years old, Isco has finally found a new home after his contract at Real Madrid expired earlier this summer. His signing was an express request of Sevilla coach Julen Lopetegui, who has previously worked with the player both at the Bernabéu and with the national team. He is Sevilla’s third signing of the summer following those of Marcão and Alex Telles and is expected to make his debut this coming Friday in the official season opener against Osasuna in Pamplona.
