The future of Ousmane Dembélé is once again a hot topic in Barcelona. In recent days, clubs such as PSG have been interested in the situation of the Frenchman, who is not considering leaving Barcelona.

In an interview with Telefoot, he discussed winning the league title and his future.

“I have always said my dream was to play for Barcelona and winning titles with the club represents a great source of pride for me,” he said.

The winger, who is expected to be called up by Didier Deschamps on Wednesday for the France games against Gibraltar on 16 June and Greece on 19 June, added: “I have always been a Barcelona fan, with players like Iniesta and Messi”.

On his future, the France international, whose contract comes to an end in 2024, said he was confident of staying at Barcelona. “I feel very good at Barcelona, it’s the club I love. I hope to become a great player here for many years to come. Now my goal is to keep winning titles with Barça and try to win the Champions League.”

PSG, who tried to sign him last season, are keeping an eye on Dembélé's situation, according to reports in L’Équipe this week.

Vinícius abuse

He also had words on the racism Vinícius suffered at Mestalla last week. “It’s unbelievable what Vinícius has been going through for years. It’s not the first time something like this has happened to him. These are things that we must not tolerate in football, we must solve it very quickly. I have also suffered episodes of racism and we have to ask ourselves how long we are going to allow this. We need to react to these things,” he added.

Messi’s potential return to Barcelona

Dembélé was also full of praise for Lionel Messi, saying, “he is always at the highest level - it would be incredible to have him back”.

Dembélé, a close friend of Mbappé, praised the PSG forward. “He’s a leader, he’s a great player and I was happy to hear the news that he was [France] captain,” he concluded.
