Pachuca set to honor World Cup winner Hermoso ahead of Pumas clash

The world champion is back in Mexico with club side Pachuca with the Tuzas set to commemorate the striker’s recent World Cup win with Spain ahead of the Liga MX Femenil game against Pumas.

Jenni Hermoso already trained with Pachuca

Spanish striker Jenni Hermoso returned to Pachuca women’s team training this Friday after having won the 2023 World Championship with her national team at the recent Australia/New Zealand World Cup.

Jenni arrived in CDMX on Thursday afternoon after having enjoyed her vacation period after participating in the World Cup and immediately got to work for the Liga MX Femenil side under the orders of coach Juan Carlos Cacho.

Las Tuzas boasted on their social networks the return of the world champion with Hermoso expected to get some playing time in the duel against Pumas.

The Pachuca board plans to pay tribute to Hermoso next Sunday as the team face Pumas at the Hidalgo stadium in the tenth game of the Apertura 2023 season.
