For the past few years, Pachuca has been one of Mexican soccer’s most active ‘selling clubs’ - both inside and outside of the domestic market. Even though the Clausura 2023 is already underway, Los Tuzos recently offloaded striker Nicolás Ibáñez, who will spent the rest of the season with Tigres jersey in one of the top signings of the national winter trasnfer market. We take a look at five players who were recently moved on by Pachuca.

Víctor Guzmán

After lifting the league championship, ‘Pocho’ decided to end his stay with Los Tuzos to join Chivas Guadalajara where he was warmly received by the fans. The attacking midfielder previously played 12 tournaments with Pachuca, winning two league championships and one Concacaf Champions League.

The Argentine striker demonstrated that he is an interesting option in attack during his time at Necaxa and Atlético de San Luis, which was one of the reasons he was bought by Pachuca in January 2021. However, he only spent a year at the club before being loaned out to Ecuadorian side Emelec at the start of 2022. He is currently back in his homeland after signing for Platense last week.

Érick Aguirre

He was one of the best youth players at Pachuca, putting in outstanding performances which earned him call-ups for Mexico’s national team. In the summer of 2021, Pachuca decided to sell the Mexican winger to Monterrey, where he has been a first-choice under coach Victor Manuel Vucetich.
