“Now, I aspire to more; we’re not settling for the semifinals. We’re going to strive to reach the final,” stated the coach after securing their spot in the semifinals, defeating Paraguay with a tight 3-2 victory in a thrilling match. The Mexican team remains undefeated in the tournament after a draw and two wins in the group stage, where they made history by defeating the United States for the first time in an official match (2-0) and finishing at the top of their group.
Next up it’s Brazil, one of the big favourites and who comfortably eliminated Argentina 5-1. But with the final on the horizon. Pedro has built a team that aspires to everything.
