With the Premier League in its final stretch, we take a look at five of the standout performers this season.

Brennan Johnson

Johnson has been the key for a Nottingham Forest team who are still not safe from the drop this season.

The 21-year-old has contributed eight goals and two assists in 33 appearances in the top flight under head coach Steve Cooper.

The Welshman will no doubt have Premier League suitors this summer even if Forest stay up.

Evan Ferguson

The Irishman has had a huge impact under Roberto De Zerbi this season.

Ferguson is only 18 and has played as the focal point in a superb season for Brighton, with other Premier League clubs, including Manchester United, showing their interest in a player with a big future.

The Seagulls striker has four goals and two assists in 13 Premier League matches and recently signed a new deal at the club.

William Saliba

The Frenchman has been excellent for Arsenal this season and his absence in recent games has been noticed as the Gunners dropped points in their last four fixtures without the 22-year-old.

After several loan spells in Ligue 1, Saliba is expected to sign a new deal at the Emirates and become a key defender for Arsenal over the coming years.

Bukayo Saka

You can’t ignore the performances of Gabriel Martinelli for Arsenal this season, but Saka has gone to another level.

The England international has matured to become an instrumental part of Mikel Arteta’s title-chasing side.

The 21-year-old has scored 13 goals and assisted 11 in 33 league games.

Erling Haaland

Well, what can we say about Erling Haaland? The season could not have gone any better for the Norwegian, who has 49 goals in all competitions and 33 in the Premier League.

City could win a treble this season with their No 9 in the form of his life. Arguably the best player in the world right now, the 22-year-old is set to win the Premier League Player of the Season award.
