PSG in advanced talks for highly-rated Spanish midfielder Gabri Veiga
According to Foot Mercato, negotiations for the talented Spanish player are advanced and PSG want to complete the signing in the coming days.
PSG have already signed five players ahead of the new season, and will soon announce Luis Enrique as their new first-team head coach.
Their aim is to add even more signings to their squad for next season and the next player who could land in the French capital is Gabri Veiga - the highly-rated Celta Vigo midfielder - whose release clause is worth $44 million.
Negotiations, as reported by Foot Mercato, have accelerated over the last few hours and it is Luís Campos, with the approval of Luis Enrique, who is leading the talks.

As well as being a sporting advisor at PSG, Campos is the sporting advisor at Celta, so he is well aware of Veiga’s talent after he exploded onto the scene in LaLiga last season, scoring 11 goals and providing four assists.
PSG have reportedly advanced negotiations to such an extent that there is even talk of a specific date for the talented Spanish midfielder to undergo a medical.
Premier League interest
Despite having attracted the interest of several top Premier League clubs and Real Madrid, it has been the French club who have been the first to accelerate talks for Veiga.
