Stand closed at Parc des Princes

The IFL handed the four players suspensions from 10 October and reinging French champions PSG have been ordered to close the Auteuil stand at the Parc des Princes for two matches, one of which was suspended.

“The club regrets that the disciplinary commission has opted for an excessive and collective measure, likely to undermine the work of dialogue and prevention undertaken by the club with associations, institutions and fans,” PSG said in a statement, adding that they will not appeal.

PSG lose to Newcastle

PSG suffered their first defeat of this season’s Champions League against Newcastle United (4-1) in midweek. The loss at St James’ Park was the heaviest in a Champions League match since the start of the QSI era, which began in 2012.
