Raúl Jiménez was sent off in the first half of Fulham’s Premier League match against Newcastle United on Saturday.

The Mexican striker received his marching orders after just 22 minutes at St James’ Park.

With the scoreline at 0-0, Jiménez was given a straight red card after flying into a challenge with Newcastle player Sean Longstaff, who remained on the ground for some time after the knock.

The experienced striker jumped into the air and collided with the midfielder in the face, before being dismissed after the VAR review was upgraded.
