Since his 2019 skull fracture, Mexican striker Raúl Jiménez has struggled to hold down a starting position with English side Wolverhampton Wanderers. Given a lack of potential playing time with the Premier League side, the forward is being linked with a move to Turkish Super Lig side Adana Demirspor.

According to information from Aksam Spor, the El Tri national team player met with new coach Patrick Kluivert to find out about the new project with the Turkish team. The side from Adana secured a place in the 2023/24 UEFA Conference League and were one of the revelations in the Turkish top flight last season finishing in fourth place behind the traditional powerhouses of Galatasaray, Fenerbahçe and Besiktas.

Negotiations between the Turkish team and the Mexican soccer player are expected to come to fruition in the coming days so that the deal can be finalized. Jiménez joined the ranks of Wolverhampton after finishing the World Cup in Russia 2018 and since then, the former Club America youth player has bagged 57 goals and 24 assists in 166 official games for the English club.
