RB Leipzig complete signing of Man Utd target Benjamin Šeško
Šeško will be loaned back to RB Salzburg for the forthcoming season before joining the RB Leipzig in 2023.
Manchester United target Benjamin Šeško has joined RB Leipzig in a deal worth a reported €24m.
The 19-year-old striker has signed a contract with the Bundesliga club until 2028.
Staying with Salzburg for another season
Šeško will be loaned back to Salzburg for the forthcoming season before joining the RB Leipzig in 2023.
The Slovenian prospect has scored 12 goals and provided eight assists across 39 games in all competitions for RB Salzburg since making his debut for the club in January 2021.
“In order to put an end to the speculation and to be able to fully concentrate on my tasks here at FC Red Bull Salzburg, it was important for me to fix my next career step now. I wanted clarity as quickly as possible on how to proceed,” the young striker said upon making the move to Germany.
United targeting Arnautovic
United are set to submit a fresh bid for Bologna striker Marko Arnautovic after seeing a £7.6m bid rejected for the former West Ham player last week.
The Old Trafford outfit have also been linked with a move for Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot.
