Madrid and Barça's preparations for 22/23 will chiefly take place in US

AMERICA

Both Real Madrid and Barcelona are to play a series of preseason friendlies in the United States at the end of July.

Barça opened up their US tour  against Inter Miami on Tuesday, thumping the MLS team 6-0  in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

In their next game, on Saturday 23 July, the Catalans face Madrid in a Clásico clash in Las Vegas. The game kicks  off at 9pm PT/midnight ET.

Barça will also take on Juventus at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas, on Tuesday 26 July. The clash starts at 7:30pm CT/8:30pm ET.

The Blaugrana then finish off their tour against the New York Red Bulls on 30 July, in a game that kicks off at 7pm ET in Harrison, New Jersey.

After returning to Spain, Barça conclude their preseason with a Gamper Trophy clash against Pumas UNAM at Camp Nou on 7 August.

Meanwhile, the first game of Real Madrid’s American tour will be their Las Vegas matchup with Barcelona.

The European champions’ second fixture sees them face Club América on 26 July at San Francisco’s Oracle Park (7:30pm PT/10:30pm ET).

And in their third and final US tour match, scheduled for 7pm PT/10pm ET on Saturday 30 July, Madrid play Juventus at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.

Los Blancos then return to Madrid to prepare for the UEFA Super Cup in Helsinki, where they take on Eintracht Frankfurt on 10 August.
