Real Madrid - Getafe: as it happened

FT: Real Madrid 2-1 Getafe

Bellingham keeps Real Madrid's 100% record intact with the English player reacting quickly to stab home from a spill from David Soria.

A real battle for Real Madrid today playing for the first time all season at the newly refurbished Santiago Bernabeu as they saw the visitors stun the crowd as Mayoral struck in the 11th minutes following an error from Fran Garcia.

Madrid thought they had a penalty later in the half only for the decision to be over turned by VAR.

The introduction of Toni Kroos at the interval was key in firing the home side up and Joselu bagged the equaliser after a long VAR check.

Just when it seemed that Getafe has managed to ride out the storm with keeper Soria delivering an immense performance for Jose Bordalas' side, up stepped Bellingham in the 94th minute to tap home after a rare error from Soria.

Madrid now head into the international break with four wins from four but what an impact Bellingham has had at the club as the English player has delivered one assist and has found then net five times in these four games.
