Real Madrid 0-0 Real Betis: as it happened
Thanks for joining me tonight.
That's all until next time. Buenas noches!
Carlo Ancelotti came out for his final press conference of the LaLiga season with his eyes firmly fixed on Paris next weekend.
How do you rate Marcelo’s season and has he been the best left-back in Madrid’s history?
"I don’t think he has said goodbye yet, because he is still our captain and he will be our captain in the Champions League final. If he leaves, he will be one of the greats in world football."
Gareth Bale was unable to bid farewell to the Santiago Bernabéu on Friday. While Carlo Ancelotti had expressed his hopes that the Welsh forward would be given a good send-off, nobody would have been too surprised that his name was left off the team sheet for Real Madrid’s final league outing of the season and the team’s last home game.

FT: Real Madrid 0-0 Real Betis
It finishes all-square at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Benzema!
That was almost it. Marcelo sends in a great left wing cross. Benzema heads across goal but it's just wide.
There will be four added minutes.
Betis aren't playing for anything as they have already secured Europa League football for next season but they wouldn't have said no to a late winner at the Bernabéu.
Joaquín!
It really could have been 1-0 to Real Betis but Joaquín shoots over the bar from close range.
OFF Canales
ON Tello
It's Benzema again!
He takes Vinicius' cross on his chest and with that single touch, sets himself up for a shot, which he sends over the bar from a tight enough angle.
Benzema curls an effort over the bar. It was always rising. Maybe he's keeping it for next weekend in Paris.
Sabaly is aiming for Borja Iglesias in the box. His cross is met by the head of Militao, who has been quite solid tonight.
With all the changes and nothing to play for, the game has really slowed down at the Bernabéu.
And it's time for another water break.
Betis subs
OFF Juanmi & Fekir
ON Borja Iglesias & Joaquín
Joaquín gets an ovation from the Bernabéu. He's loved everywhere he goes... Except maybe at the Sánchez-Pizjuán.
The Real Madrid fans show their love for Marcelo as he comes on for what could be his last ever game for the club. It could also be Isco's last time playing for Madrid.

Betis changes
OFF Guardado & Willian José
ON Carvalho & Rodri
Betis are about to make a couple of changes.
Madrid have been the better side in the second half but it remains goalless as we approach the hourmark.
Rodrygo is now back on his feet. Valverde, Vinicius and Benzema link up. The latter curls a low shot from the left-hand side of the area to the far post. It goes wide.
Álex Moreno catches Rodrygo. He goes down. That is not what Carlo Ancelotti wants to see.

There will be two additional minutes played.
Casemiro shoots just wide of Rui Silva's left-hand post.
It's very close.
Kroos with the slide rule pass for the onrushing Carvajal. He just puts too much on it and the right-back can't reach it in time.
Vinicius goes for the double stepover, switches it onto his right and crosses for Benzema. It's just too high for the Madrid number 9.
Fekir curls in a delightful free-kick. Militao manages to head it clear. Fekir has been one of the most impressive performers in La Liga this season. Alongside Canales, they cause havoc in the final third.
Militao heads away Álex Moreno's dangerous cross. Both teams have used the left flank frequently to deliver from. Both defences have also remained resolute. 0-0
We have a much-needed water break now. It's very hot in Madrid.
Going to Paris
Most of the talk has been about Mbappé, however, there is a Champions League final involving Real Madrid in eight days.

Álex Moreno crosses. Nacho heads it out for a corner. Fekir hits it from the left but Madrid deal with it once again.
Rui Silva catches Rodrygo's cross from the right. Neither side has had any clear-cut chances but it has been quite an open affair thus far. 0-0
Some of these Madrid players are aiming for their fifth Champions League winners medal next week. The likes of Modric and Nacho can win a fifth. It would be a phenomenal achievement. Kroos has won three at Madrid and one at Bayern.
Vinicius does what he does best, beating his man on the left. He crosses to Rodrygo but Benzema gets in the way and mis-hits it out of play.
Willian José goes close!
The striker finds some space before firing low to Courtois' right. It goes just wide of the post.
Modric goes up the other end and hits one from distance. It's straight at Rui Silva.
Juanmi!
The Spaniard heads over from an excellent Canales cross.
We've had five corners in the opening 15 minutes. Madrid clear Betis' third corner of the game. It remains 0-0. Betis have played some good football so far.
Casemiro heads away Fekir's corner from the right.
Guido is key to this Betis side. Sitting in the pivot allows the likes of Fekir and Canales to do their thing going forward.
Guido Rodríguez strikes from outside the box. It's low and straight at Courtois. An easy one for the Belgian.
Mendy crosses superbly from the left. Benzema takes it down and his shot is blocked by Bartra. It then falls to Kroos on the edge of the box but the German's low drives flies wide.
The big question is, who will Carlo Ancelotti start on the right in the Champions League final? Rodrygo or Valverde?
Rodrygo goes down the right but Álex Moreno manages to block his cross and it's out for a corner. The corner comes to nothing.
Nabil Fekir sends his corner straight into Courtois' hands.
Ancelotti has sent out a strong eleven just eight days out from the Champions League final in Paris.
Betis have had a terrific season and will be confident of getting a result tonight.
Madrid are playing from left to right in the first half.
And we're underway at the Bernabéu!
Madrid are giving Betis a guard of honour first. It's a nice gesture, and one that Betis fully deserve after a super season.
Betis now return the favour and clap the LaLiga champions.
The players make their way onto the pitch.
We're going to have a double guard of honour this evening. Madrid are LaLiga champions and Betis are Copa del Rey champions.
