Camavinga goes off injured: Will he miss Champions League clash versus Man City?

Eduardo Camavinga asked to come off during Real Madrid’s 1-0 win over Getafe at the Bernabéu on Saturday night, four days before the Champions League semi-final second-leg clash with Manchester City.

as.com

The result sees Madrid move back into second for now. Atlético do, however, have a game in hand over Ancelotti's men.

The Italian's second-half subs made the difference on the night. Kroos, Modric and Vinícius came off the bench to get the home side over the line at the Bernabéu.

Getafe only have four games to try to stay in the Primera División.

Madrid win narrowly

It was far from the prettiest spectacle but Madrid get the job done against Getafe, who stay in the bottom three for now.

as.com

Madrid record a narrow win over Getafe at the Bernabéu and can now fully focus on Manchester City on Wednesday.

as.com

And there's the whistle for full-time!

as.com
95

Mariano heads Modric's corner over the bar.

as.com
90+

There will be five minutes added on.

as.com
87

Camavinga, now on the bench, has a bag of ice wrapped around his leg.

as.com
84

Odriozola comes on for Camavinga, who limps off. That will be an immediate concern for Madrid with the City game on Wednesday.

as.com
83

Iglesias is booked for fouling Camavinga.

as.com
82

Vinícius has been a constant threat since coming off the bench.

as.com
80

Asensio's goal is the difference between the sides as we enter the last 10 minutes.

as.com

Vinícius gets in his favourite inside left channel and scores with a fine finish but he's just off.

as.com
76

Vinícius has the ball in the net but he's flagged for offside.

as.com

Asensio's effort from 25 yards out is deflected past Soria and into the net.

Madrid have the lead!

as.com
70

GOAL!!!

ASENSIO SCORES FOR MADRID!

as.com

Getafe changes

Bordalás makes three changes.

as.com
66

IGLESIAS!

What a hit! And what a save by Courtois to keep the rising effort out.

as.com
65

Bordalás is about to make his own triple substitution. He'll be delighted to take a draw back to Getafe tonight but there is still a way to go in this yet.

as.com

Triple change for Madrid

Ancelotti mixes it up.

as.com
62

Asensio sends the free straight into the Getafe wall. 0-0

as.com
60

Hazard is fouled just outside the box. This could be dangerous.

as.com
60

Los Blancos are going to make three changes.

as.com
58

From a deep-lying midfield role, Kroos is looking to get Madrid moving but they have really struggled going forward tonight. Hazard has barely had a touch as the focal point in attack.

as.com
57

Luka Modric has been warming up for Madrid. He could be about to come in and get some more minutes in the legs after his recent injury.

as.com

Djené goes off to come back on.

as.com
55

Getafe captain Djené goes down after a challenge with Tchouaméni. It doesn't look like much.

as.com
54

Alena goes into the book for pushing Kroos over. It remains 0-0 in the capital.

as.com
50

Gastón's effort from outside the box is deflected out for a corner.

The ball comes in from the right. Mayoral is all alone but heads over the bar. It's just too high for the former Madrid man.

as.com
49

Both sides failed to create any chances of note in the first half and it remains 0-0 in the capital.

as.com
47

With that change, Kroos goes into midfield and Camavinga switches to left-back in place of Mendy.

as.com

And we're underway for the second half!

as.com

OFF Mendy

ON Kroos

as.com

There is going to be a change in the Madrid team.

as.com

The players are making their way out for the second half.

as.com

HT: Real Madrid 0-0 Getafe

Neither side has had any real chances. Madrid are thinking about City and Getafe would take the point right now.

as.com

There's the whistle for half-time.

It's 0-0 at the break at the Bernabéu!

as.com
42

Camavinga collects a yellow for catching Alvarez quite late.

With Mendy in the left-back slot, Camavinga is playing more centrally tonight.

as.com
41

It remains 0-0 as we approach half-time. It has been far from a classic.

as.com
39

This is bizarre. Hazard goes over but Madrid win a free when Alena actually doesn't touch Hazard, who looks like he goes down after injuring himself. He hobbles away.

as.com
37

Hazard, in his pink boots, takes down Iglesias. Getafe earn a free in their own half of the Bernabéu.

as.com
34

Mata picks it up on the left but is in an offside position.

Madrid go up the other end... Ceballos is in acres of space and shoots from 25 yards but it is one that could keep him awake tonight. It goes into row Z.

as.com
32

Hazard, who has only played in five league games before tonight, is playing as the 9 but hasn't had much supply.

as.com
30

Camavinga drifts inside onto his left foot. He looks to pick out Hazard in the box but Soria collects it easily. 0-0

as.com
28

Mata gets the first yellow of the game for pulling Valverde down near the touchline. He'll miss the game against Elche.

as.com
27

Getafe have threatened on a couple of occasions and they are, of course, without their main man Enes Unal in attack. They are currently on the same points as fellow strugglers Valencia (34).

as.com
25

Ancelotti has made eight changes for this match. He likely knows his eleven for the semi-final second leg against City on Wednesday. Madrid have never won at the Etihad. It should be a cracker and is finely poised at 1-1.

as.com
23

Alena knocks Nacho over. Madrid have a free near the halfway line. 0-0

as.com
20

The ball is played to Ceballos, who fails to control it and he goes for the old look at the ground and try to find a rough patch.

as.com
18

Portu strays offside for the away side. Bordalás will be pleased with how his side have started. The man from Alicante recently replaced Quique Sánchez Flores at the south Madrid club.

as.com
15

Hazard has been quiet so far. Yes, you read that correctly, Hazard is indeed starting for Los Blancos. It remains 0-0 in the capital.

as.com
12

Alena strikes!

Portu heads it back to the former Barcelona man, who shots well wide with a poor effort.

as.com
10

Out of possession, Getafe are set up in a 4-4-2 - an old favourite of Bordalás.

as.com
8

Courtois goes wide but overhits it and it flies out. Ancelotti shows his frustration on the touchline.

as.com

Madrid are without Benzema, Rodrygo and Alaba, while Carvajal is suspended.

Getafe are missing midfielder Arambarri due to injury. Damián Suárez and Ünal are out through suspension.

as.com
5

Getafe are fighting for their lives at the bottom of the table. Madrid can't afford to be complacent today with Bordalás' side desperate for points.

as.com
2

Maksimovic drives forward and strikes from 20 yards out. His low effort goes just wide!

as.com

We're underway at the Bernabéu!

as.com

Modric and Nacho hold the Copa del Rey aloft and the Real Madrid team gathers together to celebrate their recent success in front of the home fans.

as.com

Madrid will want to win here and of course, they will want to finish second ahead of their cross-city rivals Atlético.

as.com

Here come the teams!

as.com

Barcelona are on the verge of winning the league and Real Madrid have one eye on Manchester City on Wednesday. Los Blancos are third in LaLiga, while Getafe are third from bottom.
