Almost out of LaLiga title contention, Real Madrid have now two objectives: winning the Copa del Rey and going all the way again in the Champions League.

Los Blancos, who lost the Spanish Super Cup to Barcelona in January, are 11 points adrift of the Catalan giants in the Spanish league, with only seven games left.

Despite their recent 4-2 loss to Girona in the domestic competition, Carlo Ancelotti’s men have looked very strong in Europe, where they have easily eliminated Premier League sides Liverpool and Chelsea. They will now face another English side, Manchester City, in the semi-finals.

Osasuna

As for Osasuna, they are doing well in LaLiga this season, as they are sitting eighth with 44 points, so they still have a chance of grabbing one of the last two European spots, currently owned by Betis and Villarreal.

To get to the final of the Copa del Rey, Jagoba Arrasate’s men defeated Fuentes and Arnedo in the first two rounds, Nàstic and Betis in the rounds of 32 and 16, respectively, Sevilla in the quarter-finals and Athletic Club in the semis.

Real Madrid vs Osasuna: prediction

This is going to be another version of David vs Goliath, where Osasuna will be looking to pull off a historic upset to win their first Copa del Rey title.

However, if there’s any team used to winning almost every final they play, that’s Real Madrid. Carlo Ancelotti’s side has the edge in terms of experience and quality and it’s difficult to foresee underdogs Osasuna lifting the trophy at the expense of Vinicius, Benzema, Rodrygo & co.
