Update:

New Real Madrid signing Alexis Ciria delivered a standout performance for Spain national under-19 team against England, scoring and assisting in a strong display during an international youth fixture. Spain ran out 3-1 winners.

Ciria, 18, showed his attacking quality before halftime, helping Spain take control of the game with a composed finish and later adding an assist. The midfielder, who recently arrived from Sevilla FC, was one of the most influential players on the pitch against one of Europe’s supposedly strongest youth sides.

It is early days, but performances like this underline why Real Madrid moved quickly to bring him into La Fábrica. Against top-level opposition such as England, Ciria’s impact offers an early glimpse of a player who could quickly rise through the ranks.
