Real Madrid’s Vinicius has homely tribute to Cristiano Ronaldo

The Brazilian’s gym is a homage to his sporting idols and a new legend has been added following a nudge from the star himself.

Update:
The Brazilian’s gym is a homage to his sporting idols and a new legend has been added following a nudge from the star himself.

Vinicius Jr. is currently going through a fantastic time at Real Madrid. He is considered to be the present and the future of the club, and both parties are aware of this fact. The winger consistently demonstrates his love for the merengue team, while the club defends him vigorously in every controversy he has been involved in. And there have been a few.

In addition to his success on the field, Vinicius Jr. also has an impressive house in the Spanish capital, one that he has continuously renovated. One of the most remarkable features of his home is his gym, which boasts a genuine work of art on its walls - the renowned ‘Idols Wall’. In the past, this wall has featured the likes of Ronaldo Nazario, Pelé, Michael Jordan, and Kobe Bryant. The artwork was created by the acclaimed Spanish artist René Mäkelä, who is known for painting famous figures including Antoine Griezmann, Jorge Lorenzo, and Matt Kemp, among others.

Recently, the artist shared an image on his Instagram account of Vini’s wall in its second phase, indicating that it is still a work in progress. This phase includes the addition of two other great sports figures, namely Cristiano Ronaldo and LeBron James.

Cristiano added to ‘Idols Wall’ in Casa Vinicius

When the latest work saw the light of day in its first phase, Cristiano Ronaldo himself wrote to the Brazilian player that he should also be part of the mosaic: “I’m missing there,” the former Madrid star said. Now the Al Nasr striker is also present in the Real Madrid player’s gym, seeing René's work finished.

The artist thanked Vini and team “for the confidence” in his post, where he shows the paintings of Cristiano Ronaldo and LeBron James, and how the wall has turned out after this update.
