Robert Lewandowski reveals his secret diet for this season
The Polish striker’s diet for this season has been revealed by his wife, who spoke to Spanish media recently.
At 36, Robert Lewandowski is experiencing a resurgence in his career. The Barcelona striker, currently the top scorer in La Liga with seven goals in as many games, has begun his third season with the club on a high. His optimism is fueled in part by a secret his wife, Anna Lewandowska, revealed during an interview on ‘Què t’hi Jugues!’.
“For the past fifteen years, I’ve managed Robert’s diet, nutrition, and supplementation plans. He’s now very capable of managing it himself, but I still support him. He takes great care of his body and has been following a specific diet for years. For the new season, I’ve designed a new supplementation plan for him,” she shared.
Lewandowski’s diet ‘shows on the pitch’
Though she didn’t go into specifics about the diet, Lewandowska emphasised that her husband’s physical condition is key to his continued high-level performance. “He’s always in excellent shape, not just physically but in all aspects, and it shows on the pitch. He’s 36, but he looks and moves like he’s 25, thanks to his dedication to a healthy lifestyle.”
Despite only being in Barcelona for two years, the couple have fully embraced life in the Catalan capital. “I’m a much happier person here and always smiling. Moving to Barcelona was a dream for both of us. It has helped me reconnect with my true self,” she noted. The family has now settled in completely, and Anna has even started learning Catalan. “I have many friends here, and interacting with them has been helpful. My daughters are also learning the language. I’m gradually feeling more comfortable, but as a perfectionist, I need a bit more time to speak it fluently.”
So in love with the city, Anna has decided to launch a new business venture in Barcelona. The project, called Edan Studios, is set to be “totally innovative,” offering a variety of services including a dance school, group workouts, personal training, Pilates, and a healthy cooking space. The aim is to cater to “all audiences.” “This is my commitment to Barcelona and to the people I’ve met here, many of whom will be part of the team,” she concluded.
As for on the pitch matters at FC Barcelona, Robert Lewandowski’s side have a 100% record in the league, having won 7 games from 7 so far in the 24/25 season. They lost to AS Monaco in the Champions League and that is, until now, the only black mark on the culé resumé of new manager Hansi Flick, who seems to have found the perfect way to get the best out of Lewandowski in front of goal. Away from the pitch, it’s clear he’s also hitting the back of the net.
