Ronaldo announces engagement
After seven years in a relationship, the former Real Madrid superstar and businesswoman Celina Locks will tie the knot.
Ronaldo Nazario, the former Real Madrid, Barcelona, Milan and Inter player (among other clubs) and now owner of Real Valladolid, will be going down the aisle after kneeling (we think!) before his partner, Celina Locks, and asking that all important question. His fiancée was the one that published on Instagram the happy couple with the news.
Ronaldo to tie the knot
It’s the fifth attempt for the Brazilian legend, who seems to have connected 100% with the businesswoman, with whom he has been in a relationship for seven years, beginning back in 2015. In return for the proposal, Locks’ answer was clear: “YES, I do. I love you, forever Ronaldo,” she wrote under the image, adding some emoticons of an infinity symbol and an engagement ring.
In Celina’s post, you can see both dressed in pristine white, melting into a hug and smiling at the camera while she places her hand on the ex-soccer player’s chest, where you can also see the engagement ring that he has given her. The photo that comes next shows them appearing in a prelude to a kiss.
The reactions have not been long in coming, and in a matter of hours, the couple had received congratulations from all parts of the globe, topping 700 comments and more than 22,000 ‘likes’ since they published. And Ronaldo himself added, “I love you” on his comment board.
Ronaldo in white? No wedding information yet
Despite the announcement of this happy news from Ronaldo Nazario and Celina Locks, for the moment no information has been given on the dates between which this event is being considered, nor where it will be now that his life is between Spain and Brazil. What we really want to know, however, given his strong ties to the Bernabéu club, is whether it will be the groom dressed all in white for the big celebration...
