Sean Dyche responds to reports tying him to a “tricky” move to Tottenham
Tottenham are currently sitting right above the relegation zone after their 3-0 loss to Nottingham and reports claim the club is looking into an emergency swap

This international break may be coming at just the right time for Tottenham who are in the midst of a historically bad season. Igor Tudor is the manager still, but the question is for how long?
Will Tottenham stick with Tudor?
Could we see a change on the touchline at Tottenham during the break as players return to their respective clubs for the final stretch of the season? Recent results could suggest a change is needed considering Tudor’s record since coming aboard. He has lost five, drawn one and won a meaningless match in an already settled second leg of the Champions League.
One of the names of that has been buzzing around the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is Sean Dyche, but the potential replacement has said that it’s a tricky situation, and not just because of the current state of affairs at the club. Dyche departed Nottingham Forest last month, and has been tied to Tottenham in the last few weeks, but he has tabled the links as “click bait.”

In an interview with Talksport, Dyche said, “I was in the pub just up the road and this guy goes ‘you’re meant to be in talks with Spurs tonight’ and I said ‘well I’m standing next to you having a pint of Guinness, so it’s unlikely!’”
Dyche and De Zerbi favorites
Dyche and Nottingham cut ties last month, with Forest in a similar situation as Tottenham. Coincidently, it was the 3-0 loss to Nottingham before the break that could be the final straw for Tudor. Fans were already planning a protest before the match, but postponed the protest to support their side only to see them lose in a stunning scoreline at home.
🚨 Roberto de Zerbi has always been a main candidate for Tottenham job in the summer, if Spurs stay in PL.

Top target as always reported since he left OM, with Pochettino another name on shortlist.

Dyche says he is used to this after decades in the business, but it can be tricky. “When you’re linked to a club you get constant clickbait and no matter what you do it’s a very tricky situation. When you’re a manager you know you’re going to get asked these questions at some point.”
Before Tottenham can name a replacement they will have to make a decision on Tudor. Reports claim Roberto De Zerbi is their top choice, but he has said that he will only sign with the club should they stay in the English top flight next year. Dyche sounds a little more open to an immediate take over, but is still cautious about what he says. “When you get asked them you try to be respectful. Tottenham are a brilliant club and a massive club, so when you say ‘I’m flattered’ everyone then goes ‘he hasn’t said no!’”
