Saudi Arabia set to be invited to play at next Copa América

The president of the Saudi FA, Yasser Al-Mishal, reported on MBC that the ‘Green Falcons’ were invited by Conmebol to participate in the 2024 Copa América

Saudi Arabia have been invited by CONMEBOL to participate in the 2024 Copa América to be held in the United States, according to Yasser Al-Mishal, president of the Saudi FA.

Speaking on the MBC network, the president assured that he will meet with CONMEBOL in March to discuss the issue of the invitation. For the 2024 edition, several teams will be invited with CONCACAF members United States, Canada or Mexico all expected to participate in the tournament as preparation ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
