Sergio Ramos optimistic ahead of World Cup
After a season to forget, the Spanish defender has recovered and his goal is to be called up by Luis Enrique for the World Cup in Qatar.
Sergio Ramos’ life in Paris has gone from despair to having some sense of normality. After a year to forget, marked, above all, by his continuous injuries, the former Real Madrid player has returned for what he hopes to be a stronger second season after it was rumored that the French club wanted to get rid of him.
The Andalusian defender has established himself as a leader in the dressing room and has the confidence of PSG head coach Christophe Galtier. The coach, who landed in the French capital in July, has protected him with a system of three central defenders.

Although there are still two months to go before the World Cup in Qatar, Ramos is being linked with a call-up. After more than a year away from the national team, the man from Camas dreams of receiving a call from Luis Enrique in what could be his last national team tournament. At the moment, he continues to compete at a high level, being an important player for Galtier.
