In addition to his well-known passion for the bullfighting, music, tattoos and horses, viewers of the recent Amazon Prime documentary would have also seen Sergio Ramos express his passion for the world of art.

Few knew that the PSG defender is the curator of a second Instagram account where he showcases this lesser known interest. Spanish television show ‘Y Ahora Sonsoles’, revealed that the owner of the BornInBeds Instagram account (a play on Ramos’ birthplace of Camas in Seville with the world camas meaning beds in English) is none other than the former Real Madrid player.

Among the publications in the account are paintings, sculptures, photographs and compositions, some with a more an abstract feel with others more recognizable. There is a sculpture of one of his horses that was proclaimed May 2021 “World Champion”.

Modric and Keylor Navas clues

One of the creations shared by Borningbeds (an account followed by and following wife Pilar Rubio and Ramos himself) is the painting called The Birth which is a painting in which six alien-looking characters appear on a red background. On the back, the date of its creation and the city reveals that it was created in Paris where the defender has lived since he signed for PSG in the summer of 2021.

The painting features in the background of a previous post by Ramos himself along with former teammates at Real Madrid Luka Modric and Keylor Navas.

Common admiration for Picasso

Both Sergio Ramos and Borninbeds accounts share a common admiration for Pablo Picasso with a similar video showcasing the iconic Malaga born artists work, although posted a few weeks apart.

The final giveaway is the signature or tag that appears in many of the paintings is the the very same BB that Ramos has tattooed on his ankle.
