Skriniar’s Inter future up in the air

The Slovakian centre-back has once again left his future up in the air after a transfer window in which he was linked with PSG.

Milan Skriniar’s future has been one of the big stories of this transfer window. Despite PSG’s attempts to sign the Slovakian centre-back, he remains with Inter. Despite remaining under the orders of Simone Inzaghi, Skriniar has once again left the door open to a possible exit from the Italian club.

“I’ve never spoken and I prefer to keep it that way. I don’t want to talk about my future or my contract, also because it’s not the right place. When there is news you will hear from me,” said the Slovak defender, when asked at the press conference ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League clash between Inter Milan and Viktoria Plzen.

PSG set to continue pursuit

Despite the transfer window having come to an end, the fact that Skriniar’s contract expires in 2023 is once again fuelling talk of a move to PSG. He was the centre-back sporting director Luis Campos wanted to replace Presnel Kimpembe, and there is every indication that PSG will be back in the race to secure the defender’s services once and for all.
