The ‘European’ XI that Diego Cocca could use for the Mexican National Team
Guillermo Ochoa has become the figurehead of the newly renovated Mexican dressing room.

The Mexican National Team is about to begin a new era at the hands of Diego Cocca. The Argentinian revealed his first call-up as Mexico manager on 2 March 2023 and he left little room for fuss from critics.
On the list of 34 players that the boss chose, the theme of ‘Europe’ was one that stood out, given just how many of his choices were currently plying their trade on the continent. These players have experience at high levels of football and it will be up to them to take the pressure on and make a claim for their presence from the beginning.
