One of the great qualities that Messi possesses is undoubtedly the free-kick, as throughout his career he has scored some great goals from free-kicks. Hat-tricks

MLS lends itself to being a high-scoring competition, so should Messi come out on top in several of his Inter Miami games, he could net a few hat-tricks and equal the record held by his new team-mate Josef Martinez, who has six hat-tricks to date in MLS.

Most games with more than a goal scored

The record in this category belongs to US football legend Landon Donovan, who scored more than one goal in 32 games. This number is also possible for Messi as long as he plays a significant number of games for the South Florida club.

Game-winning goals and assists
