Who will be the captain?
Since Gregg Berhalter took over the managerial job in 2018, he appointed goalkeeper Zack Steffen as the captain, but in his absence it is expected that Christian Pulisic wears the arm band during the World Cup. The second obvious option is Tyler Adams because he has been a vital player for the USMNT during the entire World Cup process.
