This is María Guardiola: Pep’s stylish first-born and her life beyond the cameras
The Manchester City manager’s eldest daughter, an avid supporter of her father, has become a social media star in recent years.
Pep Guardiola is known around the globe as one of the greatest soccer coaches of all time, the result of winning 40 trophies and counting in just 18 years of management. But the Manchester City boss isn’t the only person with the Guardiola surname making a name for themselves.
María Guardiola builds her own spotlight
María Guardiola, Pep’s eldest child with ex-wife Cristina Serra, has become something of a star on social media in recent years, amassing over 100,000 followers on TikTok and almost 900,000 followers on Instagram.
Those numbers, of course, put María firmly in influencer territory, while her modeling work has taken her far and wide, from “favorite city” London and Paris to Venice and Istanbul.
A lifestyle built for Instagram
A quick scroll through Guardiola’s Instagram grid shows fancy restaurants, stylish outfits and travel snaps galore, accompanied, of course, by a healthy sprinkling of selfies. Among the 25-year-old’s most public appearances have been with her father at Wimbledon in 2024 and, in February this year, at the 2026 Brit Awards, a ceremony recognizing the best in British and international music.
Family ties and soccer pride
There is no public evidence suggesting the 25-year-old is defined by her father’s status as a hugely successful soccer manager, although past Instagram Stories show she is an avid supporter of Pep. She once described Manchester City’s 4-0 win over Real Madrid in 2023 as a “masterclass of football genius,” before sharing how proud she was of her father.
Alongside the City boss and other members of her family, she is also involved in running the Guardiola Sala Foundation, which describes itself as “a non-profit organization that collaborates with social organizations that develop projects aimed at achieving the full integration of people, especially children, in situations of vulnerability or risk of social exclusion into society.”
Keeping her private life private
Guardiola was briefly romantically linked with former Tottenham player Dele Alli in 2021 but has otherwise chosen to keep her love life private.
