Tickets for Toluca vs Pachuca Liga MX final sell out in hours
Toluca have it all to do in the return leg of the Liga MX Apertura 2022 final. It will be decided in front of a sell-out home crowd on Sunday.
Pachuca go into the second leg of the Liga MX Apertura 2022 final in a commanding position. Thursday’s first leg at at Nemesio Díez Stadium could not have turned out much better for Guillermo Almada’s side, who were 0-5 up before the hour. Jordan Sierra’s consolation goal was too little, too late for the locals and now Los Tuzos head into Sunday’s decider with a 1-5 advantage and barring a miracle, poised to lift their seventh title in front of their own fans.
Sell-out crowd in Pachuca
Ticket sales for the second, deciding leg of the final went on general sale on Thursday morning and sold out almost immediately. Prices for the game ranged from 3,000 pesos (150 dollars) and with the title within their grasp, understandably demand was high. The game sold out even before Pachuca supporters knew the result of the first leg.
This will be the last match of the season to take place at Estadio Hidalgo this season, played in front of a capacity crowd of 30,000. The game kicks off at 19:06 hours local time (in the United States that’s 9:06 p.m. EDT and 6:06 p.m. PDT. Los Tuzos are on the cusp of ending a six-year wait since their last title, the Clausura 2016 and their first Apertura title since 2003.
