For the second time in a matter of months Tottenham are searching for a manager. The situation has become critical in north London and after the club cut ties with Igor Tudor, they are looking for a savior to keep the club in the top flight. The club’s supporters are sick and tired of bad decisions that have led to this situation and have made a statement concerning the next manager of the club.

Fourth manager in a year

It was a rough stint for Igor Tudor who took the reigns in Tottenham back in mid February, and won just one match in seven. That win came in the second leg of the round of 16 after they got blown out by Atlético Madrid in the first leg. Four losses and one draw in the Premier League have them in 17th in the league ladder, and now they are clinging to life heading into the final stretch of the season

This comes after Ange Postecoglou was let go at the end of last season despite bringing the club their first European title in the Europa League. Thomas Frank was named the manager, but that projected lasted just a few months before he was axed. Tudor lasted 38 days and just seven matches, and to make matters worse, found out that his father passed away on the same day as one of Tottenham’s worst losses of the season.

The club’s main support group, Tottenham Hotspur Supporters’ Trust, has been at odds with the board and ownership for the majority of the season. They planned a protest against those in charge before the Nottingham Forest game before the international break, but ended up postponing the demonstration only to see their team lose 3-0 at home. That was the final straw for the Tudor, and now an emergency search is on for the next manager.

THST sick of suffering

The TSHT went to social media, thanking Tudor for his time, and sending their condolences to the Croatian and his family in this difficult time, while aiming a direct message to the board.

On their X account the Supporters’ Trust said: “With thanks to Igor and his team for their efforts, and wishing him and his family time to come to terms with their loss.”

They continued: “In a season of bad calls, let’s hope we now see a wise choice for the remainder of the campaign. Someone who understands the club and is up to the task in front of them: retaining our Premier League status. Someone we can all be proud of and who can bring some much needed success and enjoyment to our long suffering fanbase.

Sean Dyche, Harry Redknapp and Roberto De Zerbi are the favorites to fill in on the touchline at Tottenham. De Zerbi is the preferred choice, but wants to wait to see if Tottenham survives their relegation race.
