Tuca Ferretti’s record against América hits new low
América won Saturday’s Clásico Joven with goals from Zendejas and Henry Martín. For Cruz Azul coach Ricardo Ferretti, it was a milestone defeat in his career.

It turned out to be a landmark defeat for the experienced, 69-year-old coach regarding his record against América - it was the 30th defeat of the coach’s career against América. In the 75 games that he has faced them during his illustrious career, the balance is as follows: 24 wins, 21 draws and 30 defeats.

10 goals in two games
Last year’s meeting in the Apertura 2022 on 20 August ended in a 7-0 rout. It means that La Máquina have conceded a total of 10 goals in their last two consecutive Liga MX games against their arch rivals - something that hasn’t been seen this century.
