Turkey, another option for Real Madrid’s Luka Jovic
Real Madrid’s Serbian striker has other options apart from Fiorentina - including an opportunity to join Besiktas.
Besiktas are working hard on the transfers of Alexander Sorloth and Wout Weghorst. Internal sources at the Turkish Super Lig club have revealed that if that the powers that be are unable to reach an agreement with both players then they will turn their attention to Luka Jovic with the aim of securing the Real Madrid striker on a season-long loan.
Italy calling
The 24-year-old Serbia international has yet to demonstrate his potential with the reigning Spanish and European champions. Last season, he played a total of 549 minutes, spread out over 19 games and contributed one goal and three assists. Jovic has three years left to run on his contract with Madrid and Besiktas are hopeful of securing him on a loan deal for 1.5 million euros. However, that might prove more difficult than they think as it is looking like Italy could be the player’s next destination with Fiorentina as the frontrunners to prise him away from Madrid.
